Perfect for GA Aircraft with a 28-volt power supply, Trig’s TY92 VHF transceiver is a certified 25kHz/8.33 kHz VHF radio that’s compact and lightweight – making it perfect for installations where panel space is limited. This unit has a power output of 16 watts that can accommodate longer-range transmissions and is ideal as a backup radio in larger GA aircraft. It consists of a radio hardware unit and a control head that can be mounted in a standard 2.25 inches round hole. Once installed, the control head depth is only 3 inches, meaning that it can be installed in a panel where a single box radio does not fit.
